Piano Trio, Ex-Animo Mentorship Scheme


The Bukolika Piano Trio is an ensemble of young artists already recognised for their intensely expressive music-making, personal character of playing and exceptional virtuosity.


Established in 2014 trio is particularly interested in discovering and performing chamber works of the 20th and 21st century, especially from their native Poland. The ensemble was recently selected for the 2017/18 St. John's Smith Square Young Artists Scheme and were finalists in the St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Music Competition 2017. In 2018 they will perform the world premiere of Hanna Kulenty's new masterpiece dedicated to them.

The Bukolika Trio have performed in many renowned concert halls in Europe and the UK such as the Wigmore Hall, St. John’s Smith Square, St. Martin in the Fields, Dartington’s Great Hall, St. James’s Piccadilly, St. John's Smith Square and St. Peter’s Eaton Square as well as at important festivals including the Piano Festival and Russian Chamber Music Series at the Royal Academy of Music. In June 2017 they made their debut on BBC Radio 3.

All of the ensemble members are currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
